MEET THE WRITE-ON TEAMIt's essential for writers to receive critical feedback on their work, especially during the early development of a new novel.
I'm fortunate to have a group of highly professional Critical Readers on the Write-On team. I'm so grateful to them, for their unbiased comments, and for all the time they spend on the manuscripts. The Write-On team has made a huge contribution to my writing career and somehow, just saying 'thank you' never seems enough. Maybe when book sales skyrocket I'll be able to pay them for their time. But for now, thank you, is the best I have to offer. Thank you team. Love and gratitude to you all. Cheers, Suzanne. SHARON ELLIGETT Having been an avid reader for over thirty years, a ‘cannot put down’ book is one of Sharon Elligett’s great loves. Sharon resides in Sydney, Australia, and has held senior managerial roles in multi-site retail businesses, completed several management courses as well as running and managing her own businesses. Sharon has three children, and in addition to reading, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Travelling is her great love. |
ANDY HILLER
Andy says he was destined to work in the arts, because that's what people in his family do. His relatives are an interesting mix of visual artists, writers, musicians and playwrights. What they lack in stock-market-smarts, they make up for, with creative talent and commitment. Family members have always been Andy's mentors and he's grateful for the hard challenges they set him from an early age. In addition to teaching English and Drama at an elite secondary school, Andy writes novels and short stories. He gets a buzz from new technology and he's an early adopter of most things digital. He has observed the growth of eBooks with great interest and his digital reader is stacked with old favourites. Andy says eBooks have allowed him to declutter his apartment - big time! Andy often recommends Suzanne's work to his students. A group of them adapted one of her stories into a short play. Andy has been a Critical Reader for more than ten years; he says studying other writers helps him improve his own technique. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini is on Andy's Premium-Novel list. Favourite quote: "A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.” - Groucho Marx Andy owns a Bernese Mountain Dog named, Cooper, so walking is a popular pastime for them both. Cooper's official title is Personal Trainer and Life Coach. |
