On behalf of all the team, a big shout out and thanks to Mila for taking the time to write the review and for the great assessment of the novel.

It was an absolute delight reading Suzanne Fleming’s novel, Protect the Bloody Silver.

While the subject matter was distressing to contemplate, the book is really easy to read.

The author presents some pretty complex ideas, but she presents them in a way that made them easy to understand and absorb.

From the first chapter, I was keen to know what would happen next. I found it hard to put the novel down, and I kept saying, “Just one more chapter and then I’ll stop for a while”.

The storyline consistently reminds the reader
to consider life’s true values.

In this novel, Fleming focuses on a deep psychological analysis of the primary situations that develop throughout the story. Since becoming a fan of this author, I’ve discovered this is one of Fleming’s familiar trademarks.

Many of the unfolding events relate to situations that are not beyond the bounds of contemporary society as we currently know it.

For example, We have a guy who manages to hack into the ASIO and AFP databases. The hacker deletes records relating to suspected, and known, terrorists. He adds a few phoney entries about non-existent service personnel and what have we got?

Yep. You’ve got it!  A fast-paced storyline that draws the reader in.

This book makes us confront many situations that are happening in our country today.

It makes the reader consider, and predict, the consequences of many government decisions that have a direct impact on all of us.

Another reason why I just loved this book, is that after fighting all the traumas, and challenges, the characters faced, their shared experiences forged bonds that exceeded the normal bounds of friendship and kinship.

I’m a sucker for happy endings, so two weddings at the end promise hope and remind us we can look forward to a joyful life.

THE UNIVERSITY

Now that's what I call a WOW review.
Just had to share this one.

AMAZON REVIEW
4 out of 5 stars

A schooling in corruption, pharmaceutical wrongs, terrorists, attempted murder & mayhem.

Suzanne Fleming certainly knows how to draw you quickly into the story, without bogging you down in countless pages of superfluous information and detail. Fleming manages to add substance and depth to both character and plot.

Well researched and shamelessly shining a spotlight on some very real-life issues with 'big pharma', The University has enough twists and turns to keep you going in this tale of corporate greed and corruption mired together within the hallowed halls of a prestigious university.

Rounded off with an array of unlikely heroes and heroines, battling unscrupulous characters, a hidden terrorist plot and attempted murder from Australia to the Middle East.

I'm going back for more of Fleming's novels.
